Dillon County Technology Center PA/Intercom RFP

Dillon County Technology Center is requesting proposals for a Bell/Intercom/Public Announcement System, preferably a combination system. Our old bell system is a Simplex 6000 that stopped working after the hurricane in August of 2024.  Our Screen displays a series of 8's (see image below). The Intercom/PA system was tied into the BMX Avaya system when was an IP phone system that connected to the landlines. We could click PAGE and dial #11 to use the PA system and then PAGE ### (class number) to reach individual areas.  We are requesting a quote for a BELL/INTERCOM/PA system that will allow us to automate the ringing of the bells with a power backup for the system.  We need to be able to access each of the classrooms, lab/shop areas, front hall, back hall, break room, lobby and outside areas in the back, and left (east) side of the school. We are a standalone school with VERY LIMITED funds. We are looking for a product that will carry us for another few decades.

Please be advised out school was built in 1970 and there are areas in which cell phone service is unavailable and wifi is had to access due to design and construction of the facility.
