DILLON DISTRICT 3 CELLUAR DEVICE POLICY 

Dillon County Technology Center outlines specific policies through our operations manual. When an issue arises that is not clarified through this process the center will then refer to the policy manual from the referring school district.  The center reserves the right to create, modify, or review policies at any time throughout the school year. 

Personal Electronic Device Consequences
 
Possession
1st Offense: 1 Day OSS
2nd Offense: 3 Days OSS
3rd Offense: 5 Days OSS
Administrator’s discretion beyond the 3rd offense.

Cups, drinks, outside food, etc.
Dillon County Technology Center now prohibits any and all drinks/food items in the classroom, shop, or lab areas.  Any student who brings food or drinks into the building will be sent to the office as these items are not allowed in the classrooms, shop, or lab areas.  Students are given a break each day in which they may obtain food or drinks and consume those items in the canteen area.  Students are not allowed to take these items back to the classroom, shop, or lab area to extend their break time.
